Amber Renae

Monday afternoon I had a really cool conversation through Skype with Amber Renae from Sydney, Australia. Life in Sydney is great. Coffee is a great way to start the mornings off right, a great place on New Year’s Eve to watch firework displays that many come from miles to just watch, a great night life walking through Kings Cross, free health care, and much more. But besides all the fun that happens down in Sydney, Fashion Week happens twice a year and Amber Renae, a fashion stylist and designer gave me a little insight on her life and what she does in the fashion industry. She covers Fashion Week every season going behind the scenes with everyone, a fashion editor at Women’s Health and Fitness Magazine, and also managers her own fashion blog. But the cool thing I found out is that her fashion life didn’t start this way, she worked hard for it. When she was younger she used to build roads as a civil engineer, she then started to get idea to make shirts, dress people, and chase a dream with nothing but hard work. It turned into a reality; she ended up as a stylist dressing other people such as Paris Hilton and later became a known stylist. Now she spends her time in Sydney, Australia enjoying life as an editor and blogger. When she’s not working she loves to spend her time at Bondi Beach with some relaxing time for herself; surfing, skating, or other sports fun. Before I ended our interview I always have to ask, what’s your dream? Amber’s dream is to have a makeover show in both Australia and the United States, and also to education women and helping women the fundamentals of dressing.  When she told me things I thought it was really interesting, she wants women to look at not always what trending to other women but what styles has fit you best.
