I honestly think it would be the coolest thing to tell someone you love them.

Now that you know that I never had really had a girlfriend and was picked on for it and for many other things by the jerks at my high school, how many of you would like to tell the person you’re currently with or tell your ex that you love pizza more than them?. I’ve had my fair share of hook ups with girls from the bar, one night stands, from school, or whatever the case may be. But the dating world is all just a game. And I honestly find it real annoying and I know I’m not the only one. From people who are single, divorced, dating, or even married. This whole don’t text back wait a few minutes kind of thing is lame, tell her you’re out with your friends when you’re really being a slut, or even when you’re with someone and they treat you like shit. Sometimes you just want to order some pizza and be happy. Because pizza will never cheat on you, break your heart, black out, hit you in the face, or take three shots of tequila and hook up with the next person they see.

I always thought dating was something special you know. Be with someone who you can grow with not someone who brings the worst out of you. You want to learn from each other’s thoughts, fears, dreams, secrets, and everything else that makes them special and magical. Today in our generation it’s hard for both guys and girls to do all this. I may not be the best at giving advice, I never even been with a girl or even had a chance at love but this is everything I have learned from my friends, family, and seeing this in the fashion industry.

Don’t wait to watch how “the game” is played and make the first move. Why is it that he or she has to wait a few minutes to text back or even a few hours? I understand the whole waiting thing but why tease someone or lead them on without any attention of giving back. In the past you’ve probably dated someone who wasn’t really into you or who has hurt you in more ways than one. We’ve all been there. Make the first move. Take control because when you take control of the situation of what you want it says a lot about who you are to the other person, in a good way. You aren’t always going to be the one who will control everything you just are asking for respect and placing the ball in the others court. You made your move and now it’s their turn.

For guys, you have to realize there are a lot of good girls out there, but most of you guys have either ruined who they are, how they look at themselves, their faith, or even how they see others. Girls do care about your feelings and sometimes would love more than anything to come hangout with you while you sit there playing video games.

But hey girls, don’t ruin your life over some douchebag. If you end up broken up with someone don’t quit your day job over it. If you do something you love every day keep your routine going, just because someone isn’t in your life anymore don’t let them ruin who you are or your motivation in life. There are a lot of things to do in life and great places to see and other people to meet. Your feelings are your feelings and nothing more so let them be.

For girls, you all want the asshole type who is obnoxious, loud, annoying, hash tagging all his muscle pictures, or out partying every weekend. But why? Is tinder more popular now? There are a lot of nice guys out there. We may not ALWAYS make the first move but when we do we sincerely mean it.  We focus on what’s true. And that’s you.  We still hold doors, hang with your friends, text you till you fall asleep or can’t fall asleep, and even take care of you when you’re sick. We don’t over analyze every situation, we don’t run everything to our friends about you, we listen to you, we’re open minded, and we know the culture of the hook-up world is not real.

Being in the fashion industry I have learned that girls love confidence. I’ve been told by girls who most guys would never talk to that they were surprised I had the confidence to walk up to them. Some may be 6 foot tall others may be my height. So guy’s girls love confidence. I may not have had a girlfriend yet, but I honestly think it would be the coolest thing to tell someone you love them. So don’t ever take advantage of your girlfriend, boyfriend, a nice girl, or even the nice guy. And if you just hate people over all, just eat some pizza and tell people you love pizza more than them.
